Vendor Policy

This Vendor Policy (“Policy”) sets forth the terms, responsibilities, and obligations of vendors (“Vendors”, “you”) who partner with Happiwag Group (“Happiwag”, “we”, “our”, “us”) to offer pet-related services and products through the Happiwag platform. By registering as a Vendor or listing your services/products on Happiwag, you agree to comply with this Policy, the Vendor Agreement, and applicable laws and regulations.

1. Vendor Eligibility and Registration

  • Vendors must be legally registered businesses or authorized individuals with the necessary licenses or certifications for their services.
  • All information provided during registration, including business name, address, contact details, and tax information, must be accurate and up to date.
  • Happiwag reserves the right to verify the credentials of Vendors and to reject or suspend any Vendor account without prior notice if any information is found to be false or misleading.

2. Vendor Obligations

  • Ensure that all services and products listed are accurately described with clear pricing, availability, and terms.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, hygiene, and safety in all services rendered to customers.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, licenses, and health and safety standards required for pet care, grooming, training, and veterinary practices.
  • Respond promptly to customer bookings, inquiries, and complaints through the Happiwag platform.
  • Avoid any fraudulent, misleading, or unethical practices that may harm customers, pets, or Happiwag’s reputation.

3. Service Quality and Customer Experience

  • Vendors must provide services and products that meet industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Repeated poor ratings or unresolved complaints may result in temporary suspension or permanent delisting from the Happiwag platform.
  • Happiwag may conduct periodic reviews, audits, or mystery checks to ensure service quality compliance.

4. Pricing and Payments

Vendors are responsible for setting their own prices for services or products listed on Happiwag. Happiwag may charge a platform commission or service fee on each completed transaction. Payments will be processed through secure third-party payment gateways, and payouts to Vendors will occur as per the agreed schedule.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Vendors must clearly state their cancellation and refund policies at the time of listing.
  • In the event of a service cancellation or product return, Vendors agree to adhere to Happiwag’s Refund and Cancellation Policy.
  • Failure to honor confirmed bookings or excessive last-minute cancellations may result in penalties or suspension.

6. Data Protection and Confidentiality

Vendors must handle all user data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and applicable data protection laws. Personal data obtained through Happiwag shall be used solely for fulfilling services and shall not be shared, sold, or misused.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, brand assets, and content belonging to Happiwag remain the exclusive property of Happiwag Group. Vendors may use the Happiwag name or logo only with prior written approval and solely for the purpose of promoting their listings on the platform.

8. Compliance and Legal Responsibilities

  • Vendors must comply with all applicable laws, including animal welfare regulations, labor laws, and taxation requirements.
  • Veterinary professionals must hold valid licenses from relevant authorities and ensure ethical treatment of animals.
  • Product Vendors must ensure all merchandise complies with relevant safety, labeling, and import/export standards.

9. Prohibited Activities

  • Listing counterfeit, unsafe, or expired products.
  • Engaging in misleading advertisements or posting fake reviews.
  • Sharing or misusing customer data outside the platform.
  • Providing unauthorized or illegal veterinary or pet care services.

10. Termination and Suspension

Happiwag reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate Vendor accounts at any time for violations of this Policy, poor service quality, fraudulent activities, or reputational harm to the Happiwag brand.

11. Limitation of Liability

Happiwag acts solely as an intermediary platform connecting Vendors with customers. We are not responsible for the actual performance, quality, or outcomes of services provided by Vendors. Vendors agree to indemnify Happiwag Group against any claims or losses arising from their actions or omissions.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Insert City], India.
